Sennheiser headphones Design
Sennheiser Momentum HD 450bt headphones are quite stylish to look at. Although not as attractive as the recently released Sennheiser Momentum 3 wireless headphones. It is fully foldable and can be easily placed in your bag when not in use. Thanks to the foldable design, they take up a minimal amount of space in your bag, making them ideal for travel.
Sennheiser HD 450BT Over-ear headphones come in black, and Sennheiser HD 450bt white colors. We tried the White model, which sports sports-chic silver-gray ear cushions and details on the headband. Compared to Momentum 3 wireless headphones, the building of new cans feels less premium and less robust. It can be described as feeling transparent, even in plastic construction. Although lower prices reflect low-grade builds, it is unreasonable to expect a more luxurious finish by price.
One of the benefits of the plastic design of the Sennheiser HD 450bt is that it feels very light and is very comfortable to wear during long audition sessions. The ear wells are generously padded and do not lead to general repressive sensations with on-ear and over-ear headphones.
Sennheiser HD 450bt You’ll find a USB-C charging port, a 3.5mm jack, buttons to control your music playback and voice calls. A dedicated button for calling your favorite voice assistant, whether it’s Siri or Google Assistant.

sennheiser hd 450bt active noise cancelling
As we mentioned, you can choose whether to turn the ANC on or off – and once you are familiar with the button layout, it is effortless to do. You need to press the power button once, which is also useful. Headphones do a great job of cutting out loud, low drones if you are on a train, plane, or if you have a noise spinning washing machine. You may not get the fancy of slow noise cancellation and processing you get from Studio 3 and Beats Solo Pro. Still, it is sufficient enough for the essentials.
Sennheiser headphones Connection
Wireless connectivity to the source is reliable, with support for Sennheiser HD 450bt’s Bluetooth 5 and codecs like aptX, AAC, and SBC. We did not experience any dropouts, and the range was good as well. Despite the wall between the device and the headphones, we were able to move to the next room without skipping the music quickly. For those who prefer a wired connection, you have the option of using a 3.5mm jack to 2.5mm jack audio cable.
Sennheiser Smart Control App
Listen to your music as you like. This free app for iOS and Android provides a seamless way to control, personalize, update, and configure your Sennheiser headphones, headsets, or soundbars. A neat touch will appeal to those who want to customize the sound of their headphones.
Unlike Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless, there is no option to switch between sound-canceling modes. You can simply cancel the sound using the dedicated switch on the right ear. We find that noise cancellation has been active enough. Although it seems to make less noise than the high-level melody, it is making a noise. For example, when using them outside, they did a great job of canceling the sound of the fierce wind blowing through the trees.
Sennheiser HD 450BT Sound quality
Winner of Sennheiser with soundstage made for the HD 450BT. These headphones provide a great mix of high fidelity sound with warm, fun-to-listen-to-bass frequency. This combination of controlled bass and tight, lively treble became apparent when we heard precisely what Kendrick Lamar did. The smooth, detached vocals provided a challenging harmonious background that cut with crisp traps and resonant drums.
If you want to check out the / sennheiser hd 450bt active noise cancelling headphones in some of the little mellower, we chose Joanna Newsom’s Sprout and Bean. Excited harps have shown the full range of these headphones, tricking the racing bass notes and trebling tunes. On hearing this track, we felt that the headphones handled all the temporary and dynamic changes well. The HD 450BT sounds loud enough to bring you the hidden details in your music.
Sennheiser HD 450BT Battery life
As for battery life, this is a reliable performing pair. You can listen to music for up to 30 hours before recharging, and in our time with headphones, it has been mighty. I found the battery indicator in the app I was with, and the Today view widget on iOS doesn’t seem to represent an accurate representation of battery life. It showed 100% battery even after listening for more than five hours.
The Sennheiser HD 450BT’s can stand up against the Sony WH-1000XM3. It can beat Bose Noise-canceling headphones 700 at a critical 10-hour duration. It also ensures higher battery life than the 17 hours provided by the more expensive Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless.
sennheiser hd 450bt vs sony
Sennheiser just updated their HD 4.50BTNC with their new HD 450BT. They are using density plastic. These headphones are very sturdy. Now naturally, people are asking if the HD 450BT can be compared to the Sony WH-CH700N? The first significant difference between these two headphones is the inclusion of a 450BT soft shell carrying case where Sony is not. Now when it comes to prices, these two headphones retail for $ 200. But since the Sony WH-CH700N is almost two years old, they can now be found for $ 130. If you would like to know more about any of these two headphones, please see their full review
The final verdict
The Sennheiser HD 450BT is much cheaper than the recently released Momentum 3 Wireless, at just USD 199. Collectively, we’re quite impressed with the Sennheiser HD 450BT. Especially the way they sound; Audio-filers and bass hunters should apply for their well-balanced profile. Battery life and connectivity are both perfect, and noise cancellation works well enough. It looks pretty good to look at, and if you’re after a cheaper alternative like the likes of the Sony WH-1000XM3, the Sennheiser HD450BT might be a great choice.Know more Earbuds Jabra elite active 65t review
